Gatehouse
The single way in for AI assistants and scripts that use The Organization's services.
What It Is
Gatehouse holds the services' keys, so no device does; it decides what each client may do, records every request, and can turn any service off.
A request from an AI assistant to change anything needs the operator's approval in the Gatehouse app for iPhone and iPad.
Who It Is For
The Organization's operator administers Gatehouse and approves requests in the Gatehouse app.
Its clients are the operator's AI assistants and scripts, and the AI assistants of people who use The Organization's services, each signed in with that service's own account.
What It Keeps
- Requests
- Who made each request, with which client and tool, its outcome, the IP address and browser, and a fingerprint of the arguments. Kept 400 days.
- Sign-Ins
- Who signed in, with which client, from which IP address and browser. Kept 400 days.
- Approvals
- Who decided, and what was asked. Kept 400 days.
- Log Store
- A copy of requests, sign-ins and approvals in The Organization's log store. Kept 400 days.
- Devices
- Each device registered for alerts. Kept 400 days after it was last seen.
- Backups
- A sealed copy of the databases, made each night. Kept 180 days.
- Connections
- Up to 30 days, ending after 7 days unused; for viewers of The Organization's streaming service, up to 90 days, ending after 30 days unused.
Gatehouse never stores a key, a token, a tool's arguments or a result.
