The Lee Organization Names Charles Prescott Whitmore III Chief Executive Officer

The Lee Organization, LLC today announced that Charles Prescott Whitmore III has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2025.
Whitmore brings more than thirty years of leadership experience across complex organizations. He takes the role with a mandate to grow The Organization and to build out its senior leadership team over the next several years.
"Charles was the clear choice to lead The Organization through this period of growth," said a spokesperson for the Principal. "He has a long record of building capable teams and durable institutions, and he shares our view of how this should be done."

Whitmore's early priorities include expanding operating capacity and recruiting senior leadership, beginning with a chief financial officer.
